Some of the pictures aren't the best, but I'll get some good ones once I get it off the frame.
And on the kitty front, today we got word from our breeder that the new baby boy will not be able to come home with us on Sunday. He still hasn't weaned completely...and still cries for his mommy...even though he is 12 weeks old. But Ragdolls sometimes take a little longer to mature, so while we would love to have him home with us, we want what is best for him. So we'll wait another week or two for him to be ready.
Our breeder did send a couple new pictures of him though. It's amazing how much they change in a couple weeks! His face has really changed from that pudgy baby face. He's going to be a beauty....
I just can't wait to get him home and start doting on him!
The quilt is looking fantastic! I can't believe how much your new kitty has changed. I'm not surprised about the delay, you know that boys are always late to mature!
ReplyDeleteThe little guy is SO beautiful, much more handsome than his baby picture. And your quilt is awesome, you're such a terrific quilter!!
ReplyDeleteWow. Fabulous quilting! Fabulous quilt! I'm taking part in a two week free motion quilt challenge. As a result I'm really paying attention to the actual quilting on a quilt. If I could make something like this I would be on cloud nine!
ReplyDeleteThe finished quilt looks stunning. I like the combination of curved and straight line background fills. I think it gives it such great interest.
ReplyDeleteDeb....this quilt is fantastic! I love all the color, the quilting, the design. I love the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteAlso, what a beautiful kitten. I'm sure he will be happy living with you.
Your new baby is beautiful... so is your quilt!
ReplyDeleteOh bummer on having to wait longer for you new baby. The quilt turned out so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful new kitty! Does he have blue eyes?
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is awesome and your new baby is gorgeous! Frankie was 4 months when I brought him home. He sure looks sweet!
ReplyDeleteYour new baby is adorable and so fluffy! Wonder what Miss Choloe will think of him? As always, your quilting is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI love this quilt, and the different patterns of background quilting work wonderfully; I'm going to steal this idea sometime!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH!! Deb, your quilt is amazing!
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous! I love everything about it. And that kitten. No wonder you can't have him yet. The breeder can't stand to let him go. He's so precious! I hope Chloe loves him. We lost Clyde over a year ago and can't decide if Bonnie would be happier with or without a new sister. If you need my address for either the quilt or the kitty, just let me know!! lol
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful. I wouldn't have thought all the different background designs would work, but somehow they do.
ReplyDeleteYour kitty boy is gorgeous. How will Chloe take to the newcomer?
Will this quilt be at MQS next week? Will you be at MQS next week?
ReplyDeleteI know you weren't sure about the raw edge appliqué but I think it really works here. Your quilting looks great and like the others, I love the combination of different background fills. Makes it really interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe baby is growing up fast and he's more handsome now but I kinda miss that look he had a couple weeks ago - he was really cute in a freaky way.
Boy he sure has grown! Thanks for all the quilty pictures! Now I"m ready to load something and go to town!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and lovely new baby :)
