Socks

A quick post before we head out to dinner.  As I said yesterday I finished the multi-color socks and here they are...along with my smallest assistant napping in the sunshine :)





The next pair is started  and I am ready to start  the heel.

 

And though I haven't uploaded the photos yet, Chloe and  Bouree are now snuggling and playing happily together!

Bouree Day 6

Some of these photos are on the blurry side...they move so fast and I didn't want to miss anything, so I kept snapping those frames.

Chloe has fully accepted him now...no more hissing and walking away.

And I have still not done a thing...it's just too much fun to watch them.   Well actually, I did finish knitting the mate to my multi-color sock.  I'll post a pic tomorrow.

But for today, it's kitties only!











Don made them a pillow house...they played in it for hours...









OMG, I  having a "cute" overdose...and loving  every second!

 

Bouree Day 4

Today was vet day...check up , leukemia test and vaccine. He got cuddled and ooh'd and aww'd over by the staff and he loved every minute..except the blood draw, shot, and check of his privates :)  But he was a very good boy!

When he got home Chloe had to check him over and make sure he was OK. He has been tuckered out though this afternoon from it all.

 

And I have my first casualty from Bouree....



Note to self...don't try to knit with a curious (and chewing) kitten in your lap!  Fortunately I had a spare 32" circ to transfer the sock to, and then I ordered a couple more...just in case.

As You See, No Work Happening Here

I'm too busy kitty watching!

So here's what happening so far today.

More Bouree

And Chloe.  Chloe is still adjusting to having this baby in the house.  Still hissing, but less. And she is letting him get closer to her before hissing.  And her curiosity is getting the best of her, because she is now actively seeking him out to see what he's up to.

So I'm hopeful that they will be fast friends before too long.

I know you're going to get tired of all these photos soon, but I just can't help myself :)

So I give you, Bouree  last night and day 2.

Meet Bouree

A long day...6 hours driving, but worth every minute!



Many of the photos are a little blurry...this little guy moves like greased lightning!





But oh so sweet!  He slept the whole way home



And he has made himself right at home



He loves to be held and cuddled





and he is a major jumper and climber



Chloe goes from hissing and growling at him one minute, to licking his head and face the next.  Hopefully in a few days she'll settle out.

This is an after dinner nap.



He woke up and ate again...he's a big eater...and now,

He's asleep in my lap as I type this.

I am in heaven!

 

All I need now is for Chloe to get used to him....I think it'll be soon as she is already calmer around him.
