And they are exciting...we have put our house on the market and will be moving back to New Orleans. It's time to get back to where we are closer to family and we are looking forward to this move.
So the next few weeks include lots of work....selling this house ...lots of work and not so much fun; and finding a new house... definitely lots of fun.
And lots of quilting too in between showings to help keep my sanity :)
Wow! What a big change! It will be fun to follow your move from the comfort of your blog, and that way I'll get out of any heavy lifting.
ReplyDeleteI'll be praying that everything goes smoothly. :)
ReplyDeleteDeb wishing you well with your move. I hope all will go smoothly for you.
ReplyDeleteWow! I didn't know you ever lived there. I hope it all goes quickly and smoothly!
ReplyDeleteHope the house sells quickly for you.
ReplyDeletehow cool is that! i love moving. LOL in fact, i am in the process of negotiating a deal on a fixer-upper in Illinois. it will be my retirement retirement house. when we can't handle the 40 acres any more we will retire back to the city and live near my sister. then we will have two houses to renovate...mine and hers.
ReplyDeleteUgh...I don't envy you the job of moving. Hope it all goes well for you.
ReplyDeleteI just move my sewing room Deb....don't envy you the job of moving house and your sewing room/studio all at the same time....but how wonderful to buy a new house and a new studio too of course....don't forget to get your priorities right...lol...!!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck

Good luck with your move Deb. Hope you plan on taking some lizards with you to keep Harry amused.
ReplyDeleteWill you be able to take your boat as I know you both enjoy sailing?
Hi Deb,
