The last of the mini quiltlets are done and now soaking to remove the marks. After they're dry they'll get numbered and randomly distributed to my students. Here are the last few.
Here they are all together...
And all cut into individual little quilts, ready to go into the cold water soak.
Next time you see them will be after my students have added the color.
Can you give me the link to your class. I've looked on MQR but can't find any mention of it, but I don't know my way around that site as well as some others.
Those samples are just drop dead gorgeous - it seems a shame to cut them, and also to colour them!
They are beautiful. What fabric is that on top. It can't be muslin. If I remember correctly, your students will color the quilts. I hope you get photos of those, too.
Just gorgeous!! I can't believe the work you did for your students - they will really appreciate it. Sure wish I were one of them! Even more - wish I could quilt like you!
Oh my goodness...it's almost a crime to cut it apart!
ReplyDeleteYay, they're done!
ReplyDeleteLooking at them all together like that maybe you should make a whole cloth quilt.
ReplyDeleteFab - u - lous!

OH MY GOODNESS! I would love to be one of your students. What a wonderful gift. They need to be framed.
