Finally Done!

After years of quilting for clients, today I finished the last one!  I can't tell you how glad I am to be able to reclaim my life.  Now, it's my turn.  I'm so looking forward to being able to work on my own projects and hoping to get all the ones waiting in the wings done; as well as start many new pieces.  I am soooo doing the happy dance!

Don't misunderstand, I did enjoy working on all those client quilts.  I got to quilt things I will never make for myself.  I've had some wonderful clients who became friends too. And I thank them all for trusting me with their treasures.  So here's a peek at the last one.  And a peek is all you get because I haven't delivered it yet.

So from now on you'll just have to be content with my work.  Yippee!

  3. You certainly didn't slack off on your last customer quilt. It looks terrific and I'd love to see more. Speaking of seeing more, where's the rest of those pretty kittes at the top of the page? I can only see their ears. Don't you know the main reason I visit your blog is to see those gorgeous creatures???? Just Kidding!

  7. You went out with a bang - that's just lovely! I adore the quilt you did for me; it will be a shame when I get my next applique done and can't let you bring out the best in it.
