I'm really pleased with her... and though she isn't perfect, she is better in every way than my last large painted mermaid quilt. What do you think?
Mermaid's Reef (completed in 2006)
and Queen of the Nereids (completed this week :) )
All that's left now is to keep my fingers crossed that she does well in competition!
She's fabulous! I hope you win lots of ribbons with her. :)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, she was worth the wait! I think she will be very successful on the show circuit!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! i see many ribbons coming your way. it is just beautiful
ReplyDeleteJust amazing, Deb!
ReplyDeleteYou must be happy to be done. I can't study the photos because I'm traveling and they're hard to see on the phone but I can see the curved edge and it looks good.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your accomplishment and much good luck to you.

ReplyDeleteI love everything about her. And everyone else will too. What a wonderful feeling of accomplishment.
ReplyDeleteOh Deb! Its gorgeous! Congrats on getting her finished EARLY! I did that panic sewing at the last minute on a quilt I entered in our local show. NEVER AGAIN! I love binding...I HATED it that day! If its not done by application deadline, it goes in the NEXT years show! I wish I could see this in person.
ReplyDeleteI thinks it's fabulous!!! And will do very well in competition... I can see ribbons hanging from it :-)
