Still Painting...

Lots of stuff going on!  Finally some good news coming regarding the Florida house, more on that another day. Still working away at projects here in this house, and even painting on Queen of the Nereids.

Along that line, I have been trying to remember to take pictures as I go through each step...more or less :) and I though I'd share a few with you today.  As I told you last time, I have finished the base coat of all the water, and then the rock formations.  I am now working on the Queen herself.  The photos today will be of the water and a peek of the rock formations.

First, the water.  I used very thin inks and thickened them with aloe in areas where there was a lot of detail and with shaving cream in large open areas.  It allows me to cover large areas easily and quickly



I still will be going back and adding additional color, shadows and highlights to the water, but the base is done.
