Helping???

I was working on my sock last night and was nearly finished with the heel, Bouree was laying on the chaise beside me.  I got up to get a glass of water and during that time I guess Bouree decided he didn't like the way that sock was turning out, so he "helped" me by unraveling the whole sock!!

Lesson: Don't leave knitting with kitten unattended..not even for a minute!

So I started over and now I'm about halfway to the heel.

And after all that work work un-knitting...my "helper" fell asleep.

I really wish this kitty could learn to relax :)  He is so funny, zooming around one minute and totally passed out the next!

Thinking about the next pair of socks, I looked through my yarn stash trying to decide what to do next...assuming I get the red ones done without anymore "help".  I narrowed it down to 4 skeins and wound them into cakes.  Now to decide between them.

Which would you  knit next?

  1. He is too cute for words! All of them are yummy but I think I'd start with the first one....it's so colorful. :)

  3. I got a huge laugh thinking what your face might have looked like when you came back to the unknitted pile of yarn! :)

At least he did not eat your needles - my little dog did that (bamboo needles - dpns) when he was little. Did not disturb the knitting at all (all the stitches were neatly in place, hanging in the air)! :)

    LOL

  5. I'd do the pink one because it's summer...I've started to cast on a new pair ..and they're pink but I need to graft my toes shut on the current pair too. Chris leaves tomorrow and Keith leaves on Mon or Tues for London so I'll have some k itting time soon.

  6. I bet he was faking that he was sleeping, just waiting for you to leave your knitting unattended. LOL!!! At least the knitting needles survived this time. If I get to choose the next yarn, it'd be the orangey one. Love those colors.

  7. The brownish/copper yarn looks so rich- sew I would pick that. Your new babe is adorable!

  8. Looks like peace is reigning in your household - well except for your knitting! Gus prefers pulling out the famous hooked rug which is why I will never get done!!!

  9. No contest - the pink one!

He is just too cute - it's just like having a baby in the house, except you can put a baby in a crib!
