The Move Has Begun

Today our boat "Trout" began the journey to her new home.  Since she lives on a special lift in the water of our back yard, we had to hire a crane to lift her out of the water and onto a custom made trailer for transport.  All in all a nerve racking, breath holding couple of hours.   I did however, document the event in pictures.   So fair warning....no quilt or kitty content tonight.

If you are still with me and curious, here are my photos from today.

Now I can breathe....and we'll see her again soon when we arrive at our new home.

  7. Seems like a wonderful place to me! Now get ready for the rest of the move. It's probably not going to be easy, but I think you have a pretty good inspiration - after everything is over, you will be able to enjoy your boat again. Good luck!
